Ondra ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal document vault application. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

When you use Ondra, we collect:

• Account information: Email address and password (encrypted) for authentication.
• Documents: Images and metadata (names, categories, tags, amounts) you choose to scan and save.
• OCR text: Text extracted from your scanned documents for search and AI features.
• Usage preferences: Category override history to personalize AI suggestions.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the core document vault service — storing, organizing, and searching your documents.
• To power AI features — auto-categorization, naming suggestions, and the Ask Ondra assistant.
• To improve the app experience based on your usage patterns.

Third-Party Services

Ondra uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and file storage.
• Google Cloud Vision: Optical character recognition (OCR) for document text extraction.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI-powered document Q&A (Pro feature only).
• RevenueCat: Subscription management.

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data Storage & Security

Your documents are stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage. Access is restricted to your authenticated account only. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase Security Rules that ensure only you can access your data.

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete any document from your vault at any time.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Export your documents at any time via the app's sharing and PDF export features.

Children's Privacy

Ondra is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
